Join our dynamic team as an Expo/Food Runner, where you will be the vital link between the kitchen and front-of-house service. Duties
- Safely handle and transport food items from the kitchen to dining areas, ensuring proper presentation and temperature.
- Organize & pack all carry-out orders
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as plating, garnishing, and organizing dishes for service.
- Clear and clean tables promptly by bussing dishes, resetting tables efficiently to prepare for new guests.
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas through regular cleaning and sanitation practices.
- Support kitchen staff with manual handling tasks.
- Ensure proper food handling and safety standards are adhered to at all times during food running and service.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers
- Assist with in-person guest services by answering questions, providing friendly support, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
Skills
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate efficiently with team members and interact positively with guests.
- Experience in cleaning, bussing, and supporting kitchen operations effectively.
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that promotes guest satisfaction.
