Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our Miami warehouse team. This position is responsible for unloading incoming containers, receiving and organizing merchandise, preparing customer orders, and loading outbound trucks.
The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, physically capable of performing warehouse work, and attentive to order and inventory accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the receipt, inspection, and proper storage of incoming shipments
- Unloading cartons from floor-loaded ocean containers
- Receive, inspect, count, and properly store incoming merchandise
- Build, wrap, label, stage, and move pallets
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision, utilizing order pickers, pallet jacks, and packaging tools
- Load and unload trucks safely using forklifts, pallet stacker, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment in compliance with safety standards
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies to uphold inventory accuracy
Skills
- Previous warehouse, shipping and receiving, order-picking, or material-handling experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations including stocking, order picking & packing, shipping & receiving, and order fulfillment
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and calculating weights or quantities accurately
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy
Pay: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour
