Job Summary
Faith based child care center looking for a dedicated Childcare Provider to create a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and possess the skills necessary to support their growth and development. Positions available include full time infant, toddler and substitute teachers. Applicants must be at least 19 years of age with child care experience and a high school diploma. Duties
- Provide attentive care to children in a daycare or classroom setting.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood education and development.
- Support the individual needs of children, including those with special education requirements.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for all children.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and daily activities.
- Observe and document children's development milestones and behaviors.
- Collaborate with other childcare staff to ensure a cohesive approach to care and education.
- Assist with feeding, diapering, and other personal care tasks for infants and toddlers.
Requirements
- Experience in toddler care, infant care, or preschool settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices.
- Previous experience working with students or in a daycare environment is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to create a nurturing atmosphere that encourages learning through play.
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.50 - $14.50 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
