Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Deli Worker with experience in pizza preparation and fryer operations. This role involves preparing a variety of deli items, managing pizza and fry station tasks, and ensuring food safety standards are maintained. Duties
- Prepare deli meats, cheeses, salads, and other cold items according to established recipes and standards
- Operate pizza ovens and fryers to cook a variety of menu items efficiently and safely
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen equipment, including food handling areas and cooking stations
- Assist with menu planning by suggesting new items or modifications based on customer preferences
- Follow food safety sanitizing procedures rigorously to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, restocking as needed for smooth operations
- Support high-volume production during peak hours while adhering to recipe adherence and quality standards
Skills
- Proven experience in food industry roles such as dietary aide, restaurant server, or kitchen assistant
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques including grilling, braising, poaching, and meal prep
- Skilled in operating kitchen equipment such as fryers, pizza ovens, knives, and other culinary tools
- Familiarity with food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures
- Ability to follow recipes precisely while maintaining efficiency in a high-volume setting
- Excellent knife skills and experience with food handling across various culinary disciplines
- Previous catering or fine dining experience is a plus; strong organizational skills are essential for menu planning and meal prep
