Do you love the water and have a passion for helping others? Dive into an exciting opportunity with us! We're looking for enthusiastic and responsible lifeguards to ensure the safety and enjoyment of the Donald W. Reynolds Boys & Girls Club members.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor the pool area to ensure safety and respond to emergencies.
- Enforce safety rules and maintain positive relationships with members and staff.
- Conduct routine pool checks, including equipment and chemical testing.
- Keep accurate records and complete reports as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the pool deck and locker rooms.
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions.
- Perform opening/closing procedures and secure the facility.
- Arrive on time and arrange coverage if unable to work.
- Support other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum age of 16
- Preferred Certifications: BGC approved basic lifesaving to include CPR, AED, First Aid, and Emergency Oxygen administration
- Ability to maintain certification-level physical and mental readiness
- Must demonstrate lifeguard skills in accordance with BGC standards
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 per hour
