Daily functions include but are not limited to pulling orders, operating a forklift, using overhead hoist/crane, and loading/unloading trucks. Other duties may be assigned within the department. The applicant must have forklift experience and must pass a skills assessment test. Must be able to be on their feet for 10 hour shift and lift over 45 lbs. on regular basis. Work schedule is currently Monday through Thursday, 10 hours per day (6am to 5pm).
The starting hourly rate is $18.00 but is commensurate with experience. Evaluations will be performed at ninety (90) days, six (6) months, and one (1) year from the date of hire with the potential for pay increases at each evaluation. The standard per hour pay increase after a satisfactory evaluation is $0.75 at 90 days, $0.75 at six months, and $0.50 at one year. There is also potential for merit increases.
