Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of goods to our customers while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism in all driving and delivery tasks. Weekends are mandatory for this position.
Duties
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle, including box trucks and manual transmission vehicles, to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload products. Ensuring proper handling of items to prevent damage.
- Follow established delivery routes while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries and addressing any concerns or questions.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations.
- Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization of goods.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
- Experience in warehouse operations, including loading/unloading goods and inventory management.
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety practices.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving of items as required during deliveries.
- Knowledge of route driving techniques and navigation skills to efficiently reach delivery destinations.
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
