Registered Nurse (RN) – Wound Care Nurse
Weekend Coverage
Starting Wage: $40 per Hour
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) – Wound Care Nurse to provide weekend wound care services for our long-term care residents. The ideal candidate is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care while working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, monitor, and provide treatment for residents with wounds, pressure injuries, and skin conditions.
- Develop, implement, and update individualized wound care treatment plans.
- Perform wound assessments, measurements, dressing changes, and documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and therapy teams to promote optimal healing.
- Educate residents, families, and staff on wound prevention and treatment.
- Ensure compliance with all facility policies and state and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Wound care experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting preferred.
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while providing compassionate, resident-centered care.
