Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of our patients while promoting oral health. As a Dental Hygienist, you will work closely with dentists and other staff members in a collaborative environment, contributing to the overall success of our dental clinic.
Duties
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist in the management of patient records and maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Collaborate with dentists to provide comprehensive patient care, including assisting in procedures when necessary.
- Stay updated on dental terminology, procedures, and advancements in dental hygiene practices.
- Provide care for pediatric patients, ensuring a comfortable experience tailored to their needs.
Requirements
- Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
- Experience in dental assisting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong understanding of dental terminology and medical terminology.
- Familiarity with dental clinic systems and procedures.
- Excellent patient care skills with a focus on building rapport with patients.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, assisting colleagues as needed.
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus but not required.

Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
