Overview
We are seeking an energetic and highly organized Senior Project Manager to lead complex construction projects from inception to completion. Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of construction projects using advanced project management software such as Primavera P6 and HeavyBid.
- Develop detailed project scopes, budgets, and timelines while managing contracts and procurement processes.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure seamless communication and project alignment.
- Oversee construction site activities, ensuring adherence to schematics, blueprints, and safety protocols.
- Utilize tools like Civil 3D and Bluebeam for blueprint reading, schematics review, and document control.
- Monitor project progress through regular site visits, progress reports, and schedule updates; proactively address potential delays or issues.
- Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and daily logs to maintain transparency and accountability.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in project scheduling and coordination on large-scale projects.
- Extensive knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and contract administration.
- Proficiency with construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, Bluebeam, Civil 3D, and other relevant tools.
- Solid understanding of construction site operations along with hands-on experience in construction site safety practices.
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately; familiarity with heavy civil or infrastructure projects is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
