We're Hiring – Full-Time Dog Trainer
Proactive Dog Training is looking for a full-time dog trainer to join our team.
Requirements:
- Previous dog training experience.
- Strong dog handling skills and the ability to read canine body language.
- Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes, breeds, temperaments, and energy levels.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work well with a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
While experience is required, your ability to adapt to our training system is what matters most. During a paid two-week working interview, we'll teach you how and why we train the way we do. We don't expect perfection—we're looking for someone who is coachable, learns quickly, and can apply and explain what they're learning.
You'll work with everything from puppies learning obedience to fear, aggression, and other challenging behavior cases. You'll also help maintain the training of our boarding/daycare dogs, assist the kennel team, and help keep our facility safe, clean, and running smoothly.
