We are looking for one or two part time (and/or) full time Garden Center associates. We strive to provide a friendly outdoor working environment at Evansville's fastest growing garden center.! The candidate(s) we are looking for will be responsible for assisting in the daily operation in a garden center setting. Those requirements would include:
1. Work well with people !!
2. -Enjoy working in an outdoor setting in various weather conditions
3. -Be able to lift and carry plants repeatedly as is required each day (heavy at times)
4. -Work in a drug, smoke, and drama free environment !
5. -Have your own transportation please
6. -Part time hours 20-40 (we are somewhat flexible - seasonal weekends at times)
7. -Have a good work ethic !
8. -Experience with plants and shrubs is great - but, no experience is required!
We can offer:
-A pleasant work environment
-$12/ hr pay /bi-weekly part time, with $13/hr for full time
-Somewhat flexible schedule (part time =full days preferred)
-Room to move to a full time position -potential for a salaried position in future
