Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead and manage our facilities maintenance team. In this vital role, you will oversee the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems across our manufacturing and industrial facilities. Your leadership will ensure that all equipment operates efficiently, safety standards are rigorously followed, and maintenance procedures are executed effectively to support continuous production. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and industrial systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Manage facilities maintenance teams by assigning tasks, monitoring progress, providing training, and fostering a safety-conscious work environment.
- Oversee the implementation of maintenance repair procedures using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to track work orders and maintenance history.
- Conduct engineering troubleshooting for complex mechanical and electrical issues, utilizing schematics, wiring diagrams, and testing tools such as ohmmeters.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations by enforcing safety protocols during all maintenance operations and conducting regular safety audits.
- Schedule preventative maintenance tasks for HVAC systems, electrical systems (including high voltage and low voltage), plumbing systems, and mechanical equipment to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with project management teams on facility upgrades or repairs, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope while managing resources effectively.
Requirements
- Proven management experience supervising facilities maintenance or industrial maintenance teams in manufacturing or similar environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience repairing mechanical systems such as HVAC units, pumps, motors, and mechanical systems repair.
- Proficiency in electrical systems repair including high voltage and low voltage troubleshooting; familiarity with schematics is essential.
- Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), engineering troubleshooting, and electrical experience is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations along with the ability to enforce safety standards diligently across all maintenance activities.
- Skilled in using Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation purposes; familiarity with CMMS software is a plus.
- Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals; experience with Ohmmeters and other testing tools required.
- Excellent leadership qualities with strong team management skills; capable of motivating staff while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills in English to coordinate with cross-functional teams clearly and professionally.
