Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS systems
- Serve food, made coffee, cocktails, wine, and beverages efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
- Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card payments
- Upsell menu items and drink specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and food handling
- Assist with drink & coffee preparation and ensuring timely delivery of orders
- Support guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally
Experience
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred
- Familiarity with Toast POS systems.
- Knowledge of coffee, wine, cocktail mixing, and beverage service techniques
- Experience with fine dining or upscale restaurant environments is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
- Culinary experience or food industry background is advantageous for understanding food safety and preparation standards
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to guest interactions
