Atlas & Cedar specializes in technical fabrication and machining. We serve a variety of industries including industrial machinery parts manufacturing, agricultural, construction, and furniture manufacturing. This is a position which consists primarily of welding responsibilities, but also material breakdown and prep, drilling, tapping, and other basic fabrication tasks. There is also the occasional need for installation work on site.
Welder/Fabricator
Skills required, but not limited to:
- Proficiency with basic metal fabrication tools
- Must be able to read prints, develop cut lists, and arrive at general strategies for implementation of project related tasks
- MIG & TIG welding
- Surface prep & metal finishing
- Securely packaging and transporting completed projects to job-sites
- Willingness to work both alone and in a team setting
