- We are looking for motivated people to assist young students learn to read and gain a foundational understanding of math concepts.
- Your energy and commitment will directly impact children’s early learning experiences, setting the foundation for future success.
Responsibilities
- Work and assist students completing their reading/ math classwork.
- Assist students by reviewing concepts learned through our program by completing review activities after their assignments.
- Grade students work and assist them with their corrections if needed.
- Give feedback to the instructor of the children’s progression.
- Communicate effectively with children and team members to support ongoing learning goals and progress.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in an educational or childcare settings
- Willingness to learn and understand the Kumon method and how we teach foundational concepts
- Familiarity with technology
- Experience tutoring or teaching reading or math
- Ability to adapt instructional methods based on individual learning styles and needs
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with students,
- Proactive approach to supporting young learners’ growth
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
