Redefining a Baja Cantina as we know it - by pairing art and music (check out the Music Yard) with great made-from scratch food, SouthBound offers locals and visitors alike an oasis to unwind … so close to Southern California you can almost smell the fresh sea air.
We are looking for experienced and passionate SERVERS (full and part time positions available) to join our FOH staff team.
Here’s what you do ….
- Knowledge and ability to recite and explain the menu
- Follow the Steps of Service with each guest
- Demonstrate outstanding hospitality and service throughout each shift with guests, managers, and team members
- Engage in teamwork
- Follows all sanitation and safety policies
- Performs other duties as assigned by management
- Maintains a safe working environment and report any safety issues to management immediately
- Intermediate knowledge of craft beers is a major plus
- Maintains valid RAST certification
- Advises Management Team Members of any non-routine situations/issues
Qualifications
- respectful and hospitable to everyone

- guest-oriented and always demonstrate a desire to be of service
- organized
- able to excel in high pressure environments
- able to follow written and verbal instructions
- able to recognize common signs of intoxication and know how to address the situation
- available to a variety of opens, swings, and closes including weekends and holidays
- Bi- Lingual is a plus
- Must be 18 years old
