Duties
- Assist customers in selecting wines that complement their preferences and occasions, providing expert recommendations based on taste profiles and food pairings
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing wine display, ensuring all bottles are properly labeled, stocked, and rotated
- Engage in upselling techniques to enhance sales and introduce customers to new or premium wine options
- Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems such as Square or Toast.
Requirements
- Strong foundational knowledge of wine, including major varietals, wine regions, and styles
- Previous experience in restaurant service or food and beverage industry roles preferred
- Ability to lift and carry 50lbs+
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Square or Toast for efficient transaction processing
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell and recommend products confidently
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances guest interactions
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
