Duties
- Prepare and cook authentic Thai dishes following established recipes and presentation standards.
- Plan menus that highlight traditional flavors while accommodating dietary preferences and restrictions.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and proper food handling throughout all kitchen operations.
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients to ensure efficient meal service.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure timely meal preparation and delivery during busy service hours.
- Support catering events by preparing large quantities of Thai cuisine with attention to quality and consistency.
- Uphold cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment maintenance.
Experience
- Previous experience working in Thai cuisine or similar Asian culinary environments is highly preferred.
- Strong background in food industry roles such as restaurant or catering kitchens, with a focus on fine dining or casual dining settings.
- Demonstrated skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, knife handling, and meal presentation.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for handling ingredients safely.
- Experience with menu planning, food industry standards, and dietary accommodations is a plus.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, food service procedures, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
