American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Worcester, MA, requiring a permanent MA RN license and at least 1.5 years of experience.

Emergency Department (ED) setting at a hospital in Worcester, MA

Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, with a standard start time of 7:00 PM

Shift start time may occasionally flex up to four hours earlier or later based on urgent staffing needs — this is reported to be very rare

13-week contract

Active, permanent MA RN license currently in hand

Minimum 1.5 years of RN experience required

Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS

Must be able to read and interpret telemetry/EKG

Epic EMR experience preferred

Two professional references required, with at least one from a Nurse Manager or higher

Candidates must reside more than 200 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position

No prior disciplinary actions or violations on nursing license

Orientation includes two pass/fail exams — a medication exam and a telemetry/EKG exam — each with only one attempt allowed; failure results in immediate contract cancellation

Study materials will be provided prior to orientation to help candidates prepare for both exams
