We are seeking an individual who is self-aware, adaptable, detail-oriented, motivated and committed to delivering high-quality service to our clients. In this role, you will be licensed by the Structural Pest Control Board to perform essential structural modifications for pest exclusion and deterrence. You will work in coordination with structural pest management plans to maintain the integrity and safety of our clients' properties.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Structural Modification: Modify structures using pest exclusion and deterrence devices; repair structures to effectively manage and prevent pest issues.
- Site Management: Clean and prepare job sites, remove debris/hazardous materials, and ensure worksites are left clean and organized.
- Equipment & Materials: Operate a variety of hand and power tools safely. Load/unload materials (e.g., lumber, cement) as required by project plans.
- Safety & Compliance: Maintain valid licensure, utilize required protective gear (including respirators), and strictly adhere to safety protocols.
- Documentation: Complete accurate work tickets, tech logs, and required paperwork at the job site daily.
- General Duties: Capture wildlife/pests for relocation and assist with site logistics, such as directing traffic near work zones.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
- Physical Capabilities: Must be physically capable of climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.
- Ladder Usage: Ability to carry and operate a 30 ft. extension ladder safely.
- Lifting: Ability to lift/carry up to 80 lbs and push/pull 50-lb loads.
- Environment: Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces (crawl spaces, attics, etc.).
- Conditions: Ability to work in various environmental conditions (seasonal weather, dust, etc.).
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- US Citizen or valid Authorized Work Permit holder.
- Ability to obtain pest control applicators license.
- Required: Valid Driver’s License (driving is a requirement for this position).
- Must complete the DPR approved Healthy Schools Act course.
- Must be able to pass a Kaiser Medical Evaluation for Respirator Use.
- Strong communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency with the ability to learn new software quickly.
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 8 - 12 hour shifts
- Overtime may be required
