At The Children's Guild, we believe that access to quality mental health care can change the trajectory of a child's life. We are looking for passionate, emerging clinicians to join our Outpatient Mental Health Center (OMHC) team and begin building a career grounded in purpose, growth, and impact.
The Children's Guild is a nonprofit organization and affiliate of TranZed Alliance — one of the most experienced child-serving organizations in the Greater Baltimore/Washington region. Our OMHC provides evidence-based, trauma-informed outpatient mental health services to children, adolescents, and families across multiple locations in Maryland and Washington, D.C
This is an outstanding opportunity for a experienced, new or early-career clinician to develop their skills in a structured, supportive, and mission-driven environment. As an OMHC Clinician, you will:

Provide individual, family, and group therapy to children and adolescents experiencing mental health, behavioral, and trauma-related challenges

Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans

Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions (e.g., CBT, TF-CBT, play therapy) under clinical supervision

Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with COMAR, HIPAA, and agency standards

Collaborate with psychiatrists, case managers, school staff, and community providers to coordinate care

Engage families as active, essential partners in the therapeutic process

Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and ongoing professional development

Support crisis assessment and safety planning as needed
✔ Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field (required)
✔ Graduate licensure in Maryland or D.C. (LMSW, LCSW, LGPC or equivalent); candidates awaiting licensure welcome to apply
✔ Genuine passion for working with children, adolescents, and families with diverse mental health needs
✔ Basic knowledge of trauma-informed care and evidence-based therapeutic modalities
✔ Strong written and verbal communication skills
✔ Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
✔ Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills
