Qualifications
- Prior experience working with animals in a veterinary clinic, kennel, or pet care setting is highly desirable
- Knowledge of dog handling techniques and dog training methods
- Experience with veterinary procedures or as a veterinary technician or assistant is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling large animals or equipment
- Strong animal handling skills and familiarity with animal restraint protocols
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and visitors
- Passionate about animal welfare with a positive attitude and proactive approach to care tasks
- Ability to work 10-hour shifts, holidays, and weekends is a MUST.
