Duties
- Prepare a variety of sandwiches, salads, and other menu items with precision and care, ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are met.
- Operate POS systems such as Square POS to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, upselling menu items, and addressing inquiries with enthusiasm.
- Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food prep zones in compliance with health regulations.
- Assist with food handling tasks such as cleaning tables, restocking supplies, and supporting kitchen operations when needed.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service delivery without compromising quality or safety.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service environments such as quick service restaurants, cafés, or grocery stores is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Square POS is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math tasks.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
