Position Overview
WCMS is seeking a full-time Occupational Health Nurse III (RN) to support a large industrial distribution facility in Clayton, OH. This role operates as a highly autonomous clinic lead, responsible for managing daily clinic operations, delivering occupational health services, and supporting site safety and HR initiatives.
This position is ideal for an experienced RN who thrives in an independent environment and enjoys a mix of clinical care, emergency response, and program management.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide care for workplace injuries and illnesses, including triage and treatment
- Respond to on-site medical emergencies and support emergency response efforts
- Manage day-to-day clinic operations with a high level of autonomy
- Conduct DOT drug testing, fit-for-duty exams, and OSHA surveillance testing
- Support disability case management and return-to-work processes
- Partner with HR, Safety, and Operations on employee health initiatives
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and reporting (electronic and paper)
- Assist in determining work-relatedness of injuries and incident investigations
- Deliver wellness programs and employee health education
- Serve as liaison between site leadership and medical providers
Qualifications Required
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
- 3–5 years of nursing experience (ER, ICU, or similar preferred)
- CPR/AED Certification
- Experience with electronic medical records / documentation systems
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
Preferred
- Occupational Health experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Experience with OSHA, ADA, and workplace health programs
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $38.00 – $45.00 per hour (based on experience)
