We have a client that has a street maintenance positions open for immediate interviews!
Street Technician - Receives immediate supervision from the Senior Street Technician. Performs semi-skilled labor in the maintenance, weeding and related duties activities related to street maintenance work.
This position will be paying $20/hr and is full-time: Mon - Thurs 7 AM to 5:30 PM.
Duties:
- Removes weeds, brush, trash, and debris from paved areas; may use power equipment and apply herbicides.
- Loads/unloads trucks, fuels vehicles and equipment, cleans and maintains tools and work areas.
- Operates and adjusts various hand and power tools; primarily operating a weed-eater; may operate light equipment.
- Follows safe work practices, uses safety gear, secures work sites, and attends safety meetings.
- Keeps basic records of work performed.
- Enhances team efficiency by offering suggestions and participating actively.
- Interacts courteously with the public and staff, promoting a positive work environment.
Must be able to pass a background and drug test and have a clean DMV report. Position requires a driver's license.
