Clock/Scoreboard Operator
Sports: All Sports at F&M
Schedule: Evenings and Weekends (based on game schedule)
Pay: $35.00-$50.00 per contest (average contest 2 hours)
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Clock/Scoreboard Operator to join our event staff. This role is essential in ensuring accurate game information is displayed for athletes, coaches, officials, and fans. Scheduling is flexible based on a preset competition schedule.
Responsibilities
- Operate the electronic scoreboard during sporting events.
- Keep accurate game time OR shot clock, scores, fouls, timeouts, and other game statistics as directed by officials.
- Communicate effectively with game officials, announcers, and event staff throughout the event.
- Arrive before scheduled game times to test equipment and prepare for operation.
- Report any technical issues with scoreboard equipment.Maintain professionalism and focus in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Basic knowledge of sports rules and scoring (basketball, football, soccer, volleyball, etc.).
- Comfortable learning and operating electronic scoreboard systems.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work evenings and weekends.
- Previous scoreboard or game operations experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per day
