Browns Health & Rehabilitation is looking for a motivated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our growing therapy team.
We are looking for someone who wants more than simply completing a daily schedule. We want a COTA who enjoys helping residents regain independence, accomplish meaningful functional goals, and improve their quality of life.

As a COTA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide skilled interventions designed to improve residents' functional independence.
Your day may include:
Providing skilled ADL and IADL training
Therapeutic activities and exercises
Functional mobility and transfer training
Cognitive and safety interventions
Adaptive equipment training
Fine motor and coordination activities
Patient and caregiver education
Documenting treatments, progress, and clinical response
Communicating with the OT and interdisciplinary team regarding resident progress
Helping residents achieve meaningful, individualized functional goals
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Current, valid COTA license/certification in Georgia
CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Passion for working with the geriatric population
Previous SNF/LTC experience preferred, but not required
