Objectives of the Position: As an ambassador of Jesus Christ, the Receptionist is responsible for assisting the Center Manager in performing administrative duties related directly to the operations of the pregnancy center.
Savannah Care Center is a faith-based, nonprofit pregnancy resource center dedicated to providing compassion, hope and help to women and men experiencing unplanned pregnancies. Savannah Care Center does not perform or refer for abortions.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Be a committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord
- Exhibit strong commitment and dedication to pro-life position and sexual purity
- Agree with and be willing to uphold the Commitment of Care and Competence, Core Values, Statement of Faith, and policies of the center
- Be able to respect and keep confidential information
- Have a friendly, clearly understood voice
- Exhibit excellent organizational skills and typing ability
- Be self-motivated, dependable, and responsible
- Be able to perform routine clerical duties
- High School Diploma
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bi-lingual in Spanish and English preferred but not required
Essential Functions:
I. Administrative
- Answer phone and route calls
- Schedule appointments according to the guidelines and procedures of the pregnancy
- center
- Greet clients as they come into the center
- Instruct clients to complete intake forms
- Perform clerical duties as assigned
- See that all correspondence is gathered and mailed on a timely basis
- Oversee inventory control of office supplies
- Oversee management of Dream Club
- Perform opening and closing duties as required
- Attend monthly staff/volunteer meetings
- Assist the Center Manager or Executive Director with performing office administrative
- duties, as requested
II. Computer Operations
- Complete training on web-based portals to perform daily duties
- Check center emails daily
- Use Microsoft Office to create necessary reports
