DFS Flooring provides professional floor maintenance and restoration services to commercial clients across San Diego, including office buildings, financial institutions, stadiums, and retail locations. Our work covers carpet cleaning, VCT/LVT strip and wax, tile and grout cleaning, and stone care.
We’re growing quickly and need dependable Floor Technicians who are ready to work now. If you’re reliable and motivated, you could be on the schedule within a week.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform professional floor care services including scrubbing, stripping/waxing, sealing, burnishing, and carpet cleaning
- Operate equipment such as auto-scrubbers, buffers, extractors, and burnishers
- Apply sealers and protective finishes to ensure quality and durability
- Follow all safety and chemical handling guidelines
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to meet quality standards
- Work evening or night shifts, with occasional weekend assignments
- Travel to commercial job sites throughout San Diego (company vehicle provided for assignments)
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (required)
- Previous floor care or janitorial experience preferred, but training is available for motivated candidates
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Team player with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive pay: $19 – $25/hr (based on experience and skill level)
