Shape the Future of a High-Performance Surgical Practice!
This is not a traditional office manager position. The Director of Operational Excellence serves as the operational steward of the practice. We are seeking an analytical executive who thrives on metrics, dashboards, systems, accountability, and execution. You will monitor the operational health of the practice, manage strategic initiatives, facilitate EOS processes, and provide ownership with actionable business intelligence. This individual monitors the organization's vital signs through executive reporting, KPI dashboards, project management, and continuous process improvement. This position does not manage Human Resources or employee relations.
Compensation: Commensurate with experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop executive dashboards and KPI scoreboards.
- Produce weekly and monthly operational reports.
- Analyze production, collections, profitability, scheduling, treatment acceptance, referral trends, payroll, expenses, and marketing ROI.
- Facilitate EOS level 10 Meetings.
- Maintain EOS Scorecards, Rocks, and Issues lists.
- Lead strategic projects from planning through implementation.
- Coordinate cross-department initiatives.
- Develop and document operational workflows.
- Identify trends and present recommendations to ownership.
- Ensure projects remain on schedule and organizational priorities stay aligned.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Operations, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Experience in healthcare operations, business analytics, consulting, or operations management.
- Strong Excel skills; Power BI or Tableau experience preferred.
- Familiarity with EOS, Lean, Six Sigma, or project management methodologies is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
