Position Summary
A Landfill Laborer is responsible for executing general labor duties in a conscientious and efficient manner at a hauling company, transfer station, recycling center, or landfill. The primary focus is on maintaining landfill compliance by addressing loose trash blown off the landfill into designated areas. Additional responsibilities encompass yard clean-up, vehicle and equipment fueling, general vehicle operation, office maintenance, and other related duties. 7am till 4 pm
Safety and Efficiency:
- Safely and efficiently execute assigned responsibilities.
- Address loose trash blown off the landfill into specified areas to ensure compliance.
General Labor:
- Walking the surrounding areas of Landfill, picking up trash.
- Clean work areas to uphold environmental standards.
- Fuel vehicles and equipment as needed.
- Perform track cleaning on track-type and related equipment.
- Conduct yard work, including mowing and paper pick-up.
- Construction Laborer, Warehouse and Landscaping experience preferred.
Site Maintenance:
- Undertake general office maintenance and repairs, including painting and janitorial tasks.
- Install temporary wind fences as required.
Traffic Management:
- Direct traffic at the site as necessary.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour
