- Work with modern press brakes (including numerical control) to turn blueprints into precision parts
- Own set-up through final QC and be trusted to make program changes on the fly
- Contribute to a safety-first, organized, team-focused environment
- Shift: 1st shift, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Work Remotely: No
- Set up and operate press brakes (including numerical control press brakes) to bend, form, and straighten to spec
- Read, plan, and calculate for machine operation; determine and select appropriate dies
- Plan sequences applying knowledge of metal properties; set up dies and support equipment
- Build bend programs from scratch; enter and adjust programs to produce parts to spec
- Run parts; verify dimensions using templates, scales, calipers, height gauges, and tape measures
- Perform final Quality Check activities; utilize gauges, sample parts, and poke yoke fixtures
- Maintain clean machines, dies, and work areas; follow safe manufacturing practices
- Prioritize production to meet required dates; use set-up scrap to complete required quantities
- Collaborate on Safety, production and machine TIS’s
- Claim labor correctly utilizing computers
- Train new employees; ensure correct jobs are run via Production monitor screens
- Troubleshoot scrap issues and correct; program all Brakes
- Other duties as assigned
- Blueprint reading proficiency
- Strong math aptitude
- G/D & T knowledge and ability to pass a test
- Amada and/or Trumpf brake experience
- Epicor experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Technical school experience a plus
