In this vital role, you will provide one-on-one support to individuals with various disabilities, helping them develop essential life skills and maintain their independence. Your work will directly contribute to our mission of empowering lives and fostering community integration.
Part-Time 1st Shift Opportunity (20 hours/week)- applicants should be available Monday-Thursday
A typical day for a DSP might involve:
- Provide personalized, compassionate support to individuals with mental health challenges and disabilities.
- Assist with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Support clients in developing life skills and achieving personal goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and client progress.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
- Promote a safe, respectful, and engaging environment for all clients
