Bloom Early Learning Center is accepting applications for the position of Center Director. At Bloom we celebrate differences and focus on building relationships between children and teachers. Our team is more like a family and we're looking for an energetic, caring, and dedicated person to join us as Center Director at our exceptional childcare program. Bloom Early Learning Center is preschool and school-age only and has 4 self contained classrooms specializing in autism and children who have social emotional needs. We also have 1 integrated classrooms that house children with autism, social emotional needs, and neuro-typically developing peers. Experience with this population is preferred. Center Director candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Ed or related field, or a NYS Children's Program Administrator Credential. Essential Job Functions:
- The director must manage day to day operations with positive and effective leadership
- The director must create team building opportunities
- The director must multitask and prioritize tasks in a busy environment
- The director must be Proficient in Microsoft word, excel and be willing to learn new computer programs
- The director must display flexibility to “jump in” to classrooms as needed
- The director is responsible for complying with OCFS, Department of Health regulations, and Building and Fire Codes
- The director manages teacher and child schedules and maintains OCFS ratios
- The director displays kind, caring, and respectful parent interactions with our valued families and prospective students.
- The director has experience in Child Care, General Education and/or Special Education
- The director should be comfortable mentoring teachers
- The director must be able to stay calm in emergency situations

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
