Job Title: Instructional Coach with Ed Tech Focus

Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Instructional Coach with the educational technology skills to join our team. The Instructional Coach will collaborate with teachers to enhance instructional practices and integrate technology effectively into the curriculum. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting professional development initiatives, designing engaging learning experiences, and promoting the use of innovative educational technologies.
Responsibilities:
1. Professional Development:
- Collaborate with teachers to assess instructional needs and develop personalized professional development plans.
- Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and coaching sessions to enhance teachers' understanding and implementation of technology-enhanced teaching strategies.
- Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in educational technology and provide ongoing support to teachers in integrating new tools and resources into their instruction.
2. Instructional Support:
- Observe classroom instruction and provide feedback to teachers on effective use of technology to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Model exemplary teaching practices and demonstrate innovative uses of educational technology tools.
- Provide individualized coaching and support to teachers in designing and delivering technology-rich lessons and activities.
3. Curriculum Integration:
- Collaborate with curriculum developers and instructional leaders to integrate technology into the STEM curriculum.
- Identify and evaluate educational software, apps, and digital resources aligned with curriculum standards and instructional goals.
- Assist teachers in developing and implementing project-based learning experiences that leverage technology to enhance student learning and creativity.
4. Data Analysis and Assessment:
- Analyze student achievement data and assessment results to inform instructional decisions and identify areas for improvement.
- Work with teachers to use technology tools for formative assessment, data collection, and progress monitoring.
- Help teachers interpret data and use it to differentiate instruction and provide targeted support to students.
5. Collaboration and Leadership:
- Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement by sharing best practices, resources, and innovative ideas with colleagues.
- Serve as a resource and mentor for teachers seeking to enhance their technology skills and instructional practices.
- Collaborate with administrators, department heads, and other instructional coaches to align professional development initiatives with school goals and priorities.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
· Valid teaching certification and a minimum of 3 years of classroom teaching experience.
· A strong background in pedagogy.
· A coaching license holding candidate will be preferred.
· Knowledge of Coaching Cycles for teacher improvement/training
· Proven experience in integrating educational technology into the curriculum and supporting teachers in technology-enhanced instruction.
· Strong knowledge of educational technology tools, software applications, and digital resources.
· Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven instructional decisions.
· Dedication to promoting inclusion in education.
· Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $66,000.00 - $76,000.00 per year
