Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse - Infusion to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality infusion therapy to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process. This role requires a strong background in nursing with specific experience in acute care settings, as well as proficiency in using electronic health record
Responsibilities
- Administer intravenous (IV) medications and fluids to patients as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients during infusion therapy, observing for any adverse reactions or complications.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about infusion procedures, potential side effects, and aftercare.
- Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
- Perform laboratory tests as needed, including blood draws
Skills
- Strong knowledge of physiology and pharmacology related to infusion therapy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Proficient in using electronic health record systems
- Experience in acute care settings is highly desirable.
