Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products related to lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and floral design.
- Provide expert plant identification and horticulture advice to help customers make informed decisions.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for cashiering, cash handling, and retail math calculations.
- Maintain well-stocked shelves through merchandising and stocking activities, ensuring products are attractive and accessible.
- Support inventory management by tracking stock levels and assisting with inventory counts.
- Offer exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries in multiple languages if applicable and resolving issues promptly.
- Assist with e-commerce orders and facilitate smooth online-to-in-store pickup or delivery processes when needed.
Skills
- Strong communication skills to engage with diverse customers confidently and clearly.
- Knowledge of lawn care, landscape maintenance, horticulture, and floral design to provide expert guidance.
- Experience with retail sales techniques, merchandising, and POS systems for efficient transactions.
