Responsibilities
- Clear and clean tables promptly to maintain a tidy and inviting dining space
- Deliver food orders efficiently from the kitchen to guests’ tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met
- Assist with food handling and safe lifting practices when transporting dishes or supplies
- Support the kitchen team with basic food preparation tasks as needed, including refilling stations or organizing supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of service areas, including bussing stations, floors, and dining surfaces through proper cleaning techniques
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, boxes, or equipment following safe lifting practices
- Provide friendly in-person customer service by addressing guest inquiries and ensuring their needs are met promptly
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Familiarity with food running, bussing, or supporting events is advantageous
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Toast POS is a plus for processing orders or payments
- Experience with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is beneficial
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude are essential for collaborating effectively with team members and serving guests
- Prior hospitality or hotel experience can enhance your ability to deliver guest services seamlessly
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and efficiently
