Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cook to join our assisted living community team. This role is responsible for preparing and serving nutritious, high-quality meals for approximately 35 residents in a timely and consistent manner. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining a clean, sanitary, and well-organized kitchen, while following dietary guidelines and ensuring a positive dining experience for residents. A strong focus on food safety, cleanliness, and teamwork is essential in this role.
Duties:
- Prepare, cook, and serve nutritious, well-balanced meals for approximately 35 residents in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen at all times in accordance with health and safety standards
- Monitor food quality, portioning, and presentation with strong attention to detail
- Follow menus and dietary guidelines, ensuring meals meet residents’ nutritional needs
- Manage kitchen workflow efficiently, including prep, cleanup, and proper food storage
