Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a positive first impression that sets the tone for their experience
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize flow and minimize wait times using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Handle guest inquiries politely via phone and in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Process payments accurately at the cashier station, ensuring smooth transactions with attention to detail
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, ensuring it is inviting and professional at all times
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to coordinate guest seating and service flow efficiently
- Uphold food safety standards by following proper procedures during food handling and sanitation practices
Requirements
- Prior host/hostess experience or food service background preferred, with a strong focus on customer service excellence
- Experience working in restaurants or hospitality environments is highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; hotel experience is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, including clear verbal interaction and active listening
- Strong organizational skills to manage reservations, seating charts, and cash register operations effectively
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and restaurant operations standards
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Demonstrated hospitality skills with a focus on guest relations, serving, and providing exceptional guest experiences
