For a Maintenance Technician in our Rec Air Business Unit for the day shift of 5am to 1:30 pm Monday through Friday

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week. We are looking for a Furnace Maintenance Technician.
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the safe operation and repair of equipment. The technician is required to follow written order instructions and maintain a high level of quality. The Maintenance Tech will exhibit ownership of the department and quality of work as well as effectively communicate across departments and with management. Must be able to function as an independent worker and self-starter.

Position Summary: Responsible for performing maintenance and repair tasks on plant equipment and facilities to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Goal: Maintain and repair production equipment to minimize downtime.
What this looks like day to day:
· Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and systems.
· Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns.
· Document maintenance activities accurately.
· Assist in equipment installation and setup.
Goal: Ensure compliance with safety standards in maintenance work.

· Follow lockout/tagout and other safety procedures.
· Inspect equipment for hazards and correct issues.
· Maintain compliance with OSHA and company standards.

The ability to utilize computers and read line charts is essential. Will report to Business Unit Manager.
