Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing techniques, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively on construction sites.
Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete plumbing tasks efficiently.
- Perform pipe threading and ensure proper connections for water supply and drainage systems.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals such as carpenters to ensure project completion.
- Conduct regular inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and recommend repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area on construction sites.
Skills
- Proficient in commercial driving with a valid driver's license.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems.
- Ability to build and plumb various installations according to specifications.
- Experience with blueprint reading for effective system installation.
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools commonly used in plumbing work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team on construction sites.
