Gateway Kia of North Brunswick NJ is seeking an experienced; quality focused Automotive Service Technician to join our dynamic team of automotive service professionals.
Requirements for this position include:
- Hands on automotive technician or mechanic experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license in the state and good driving record
- Kia or Hyundai experience preferred
- EV EXPERIENCE PREFFERED FOR A LEVEL TECHS
Day-to-day responsibilities include :
- Efficient and accurate work in accordance with dealership’s and factory standards
- Complete system diagnostics and full automotive troubleshooting and testing
- Maintain an organized shop area
- Road-test vehicles to ensure quality work
- Comply with company safety policies and procedures
- Communicate directly with service advisors regarding the status of the service work
- Continuously learn new technical information and techniques
Job Type: Full-time Required experience:
- TOP LEVEL A TECHNICIANS must have diagnostic and driveability experience: (more than 5 years)
- B LEVEL TECHNICIANS should be proficient with brakes, suspension, tune ups, service work, tires and alignments.(2-4 YEARS EXPERIENCE)
- LUBE TECHS WITH AT LEAST 1 YEAR EXPERIENCE WITH OIL CHANGES, TIRE ROTATIONS, TIRE REPLACEMENT,
