Hours/ Location: Hybrid, Concord, NH -based, 40 hours per week: occasional early mornings, evenings and weekends
Salary Range: $50,000-$65,000

NH Hunger Solutions (NHHS) is an anti-hunger advocacy organization seeking to end food insecurity, improve equitable access to nutritious food, and address hunger’s root causes for all New Hampshire residents through four priority areas:
- Advocacy to close the gap between eligible for and enrolled in federal nutrition programs (SNAP, School Meals, Summer Meals, WIC);
- Supporting schools and communities to increase participation in school meals;
- Increasing public awareness of the causes of and solutions to hunger in New Hampshire;
- Supporting and building food access coalitions to address hunger at the state, regional and local levels.
Development Coordinator Position
Job Summary
The Development Coordinator co-designs and leads the organization’s fundraising program in close collaboration with the Executive Director, Development Committee, and Communications team. This role independently manages donor relations, campaigns, grant research, events, and related communications to drive revenue growth.
Duties and Responsibilities
Campaign & Event Management: Own the end-to-end execution of fundraising campaigns and special events, including timelines, logistics, and budget tracking.
Donor Data & Administration: Manage data integrity, gifts, pledges, and reports in the CRM, ensuring accurate records and prompt donor acknowledgments.
Funding: Proactively research, identify, and write grant applications and corporate partnership proposals to hit growth targets.
Major Gift Stewardship: Independently manage and cultivate a portfolio of high-net-worth prospects from discovery through stewardship.
Communications: Develop a strong understanding of NHHS’s programs, campaigns, and priorities to effectively communicate impact and align donor interests with communications. Collaborate closely with the Communications team to create and integrate development content across the website, social media, and newsletters.
Requirements & Qualifications
Professional Experience
Fundraising: 3+ years of managing donation programs and success building donor relationships (nonprofit preferred).
Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred in fundraising, communications, or relevant experience in a related field.
Bonus: Event planning experience.
