Available shifts:
Monday - Thursday 9am-1pm & Fridays 8am-1pm (20.5 hours per week)
Possibility to add more hours as time goes on.
Applicants Must Be 21yrs+ because we are a tavern & WA state law requires us to hire people 21 years of age or older.
Position Details:
- Maintain a clean work area and equipment.
- Work with a team to care for dogs, help clients, and clean facility.
- Some social media and computer work is included.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks competing for your time.
- Strong attention to detail required.
- Comfortable with social media and technology like emails, client databases, etc.
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds multiple times in a day, although you won't do this frequently it is something that happens from time to time.
- Pass a background check.
- Ability to work the scheduled shifts for the job you apply for. We are unable to change the number of days per week or the time frames of these shifts, because it throws off the balance of work for everyone else.
- Great with Dogs and People. You need to feel comfortable telling dogs no because you can't love a dog into listening to everything you say (also, they don't speak English lol). Our clients are generally very friendly and happy people, that is because our teams are also very friendly and happy people too.
- MAST & food handlers permits required, but you can obtain those while working and we will pay for them.
Interviews:

- Come dressed as you would to work with dogs & clients, you don't have to dress up for the interview but don't wear pajamas.
- We love questions. So if you think of any feel free to bring them up in advance or during the interview.

- Are you ok using a water squirt bottle as a form of correction? This is something utilized in every dog daycare every day. We do not believe in repeatedly yelling at dogs as a form of correction.
