Powder Coat Painter
We are currently seeking an experienced Powder Coat Painter. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial or industrial powder coating and painting, with the ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality standards.
We are looking for someone with a can-do attitude, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $20.00–$24.00 per hour
Shift: Day Shift
Responsibilities & Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of powder coating experience
- Strong general and technical knowledge of powder coating processes
- Knowledge of powder coating gun settings and electrostatic application
- Understanding of Corona vs. Tribo application
- Knowledge of powder types, properties, and applications
- Ability to work at a fast production pace while maintaining quality standards
- Inspect work throughout each stage of the process, including preheating, sanding, mil checks, and final inspection
- Ability to hot spot/hot flock and ensure complete coverage and sealing of surfaces prone to Faraday cage effects
- Experience with fusion bonding
- Ability to correct minor surface imperfections and address powder contamination issues
- Ability to work in tight, uncomfortable spaces and difficult angles due to part size or complexity
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
- Ability to work independently and follow safety and production procedures
