We are seeking a Hilton Curio Director of Sales for our newly constructed high-end hotel. The Oberlin is an upscale property in Raleigh, NC opening in Fall 2026.
Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and strategic Director of Sales to lead our sales initiatives across diverse markets. This pivotal role involves driving business growth through innovative sales strategies, managing high-performing teams, and cultivating strong relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will be passionate about expanding our market presence and excelling in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Duties
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to meet organizational growth objectives.
- Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
- Cultivate new business opportunities through outside sales efforts and networking.
- Oversee key account management to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to align campaigns with sales goals and enhance brand visibility.
- Utilize CRM platforms to track sales activities, analyze data, and forecast performance.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals with prospective clients while maintaining positive relationships.
Food & Beverage Sales Integration
- Drive banquet, catering, and outlet revenue in partnership with the Executive Chef and F&B leadership team.
- Actively sell and promote meetings, conferences, weddings, and special events with integrated F&B packages.
- Participate in menu planning and pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
- Ensure seamless coordination between sales, kitchen, and service teams for all contracted events.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or technology sales with a track record of exceeding targets.
- Strong management skills with experience leading sales teams in a fast-paced, upscale environment.
- Expertise in business development, account management, and customer service excellence.
- Proficiency with CRM tools for analysis and reporting purposes.
- Excellent negotiation skills coupled with strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to inspire teams and foster collaboration.

Experience:
