Job Description:
The purpose of this role is to maintain the on-time production of the disassembly with a primary focus on quality, safety, and organization of workstations.
Education and/or work experience Requirements:
-Ability to work with hand tools
Basic Qualifications:
-Technical knowledge and ability to read instructions, service manuals, specifications, drawings, etc.
-Ability to use tools (micrometers, installation tools, torque wrenches, power tools) and test equipment.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
-Good understanding of quality control procedures.
-Good communication skills (verbal and written)
-Safely and effectively complete quality disassembly process according to Tri Star standards.
Responsibilities:
-Read and follow instructions and established procedures.
-Collect all materials and tools needed to complete the procedure.
-Recognize the correct orientation of complex components.
-Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
-Report issues, malfunctions, or defective components.
-Maintain a “tour ready” work environment.
-Other assigned duties.
Physical Requirements:
-Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition.
-Able to stand on cement floors for 8+ hours.
-Ability to lift and install engine components weighing 40 lbs repeatedly and 80lbs occasionally.
Environment/Equipment and Machinery
This position is in a manufacturing environment, primary focus on warehouse and disassembly area. Regular exposure to noise, oil, paint, lubricants, sealants, and cleaning chemicals.
