Job Summary
As a Cricket Wireless Sales Advocate (Representative), your primary responsibility is to connect with existing and potential customers to promote products and achieve sales targets. You will use your communication skills to engage customers, provide product information, and guide them through the purchase process. Responsibilities
- Greet and engage customers to provide outstanding service and assistance.
- Identify wireless needs through active listening and engaging conversations.
- Demonstrate products and conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, and respond confidently.
- Assist customers with selecting devices, plans, accessories, and other wireless products that meet their needs.
- Upsell additional products or services to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing.
- Maintain company merchandising standards by stocking, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor.
- Effectively communicate product information and promotions to customers.
- Maintain accountability for daily activities, cash handling, and inventory counts while following company policies.
Product Knowledge
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the company's Cricket product line.
- Stay informed about industry trends, new product releases, and competitor offerings.
Sales Consultation
- Conduct a needs analysis and ask qualifying questions to recommend suitable products based on customers’ needs and inputs.
- Address customer concerns, provide additional information, and overcome objections.
- Utilize effective sales techniques to close sales and achieve individual and team sales targets. (Not required, but Must be willing to learn)
- Manage the sales process from initial contact to order completion.
- Build customer relationships for potential future sales opportunities. Customer service and retention are important, and are among our core values.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience with retail sales, merchandising, and/or customer service roles in a fast-paced environment is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic retail math for transaction and inventory management.
- Strong communication skills to connect effectively with diverse customers.
- Ability to understand and perform product demonstrations confidently and clearly explain technical features.
- Supervising experience is a plus for leadership opportunities within the team.
- Bilingual abilities are highly valued and strongly preferred to serve a broader customer base. Strong plus, but not required.
- Excellent phone etiquette for engaging customers over the phone or via digital communication.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent. Additional education in sales or marketing is a bonus.
Training
Comprehensive training on product knowledge, sales techniques, and company procedures will be provided.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour, plus commission
Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
Schedule:
- Monday to Sunday.
- Weekends required.
Travel Requirement
Being able to drive to other/nearby store locations is a plus.
